Event Manager - I-Expatriate

Reports to: GM - Exhibitions and Events

Key Responsibilities:

Event and Project Management:

· Project managing the execution of first-class events - from taking the brief from the client, to conceptualization of the event, through proposal development and pitching, to final delivery.

· Managing budgets

· Negotiating with suppliers to ensure best prices

· Mentoring more junior members of the team by advising on best practice and setting an example in their client and project management

Proposal and Content Development:

· Developing and executing first-class event proposals - from conception, through design, to final delivery.

· Introducing new and creative thinking to proposal design for both divisions - creative design flow, structure, copy and content

· Designing new and creative ways to present proposals - both in person and through design

· Executing editorial content based on event executives’ proposal structure

· Supervising the Event Division’s technical proposals by coaching the executives on how to structure the content and to present it in a professional and attractive way

· Managing copy-writing, proof-reading and content re-structuring where necessary

· Improving Exhibitions’ proposals so as not to address only the stand, but to address any other potential needs from client where possible

· Managing supplier relationships relevant to proposal development (e.g. printing) to ensure high quality of products and competitive pricing

· Ensuring that all proposals and pitches for the Events and Exhibitions Divisions are produced on brand and to the high standard expected at TGP

Sales and Account Management:

· Meeting with clients, assessing and fully understanding their needs/requirements.

· To manage all existing clients whilst maintaining a strong pipeline of new clients / business

· Proposing marketing & business development initiatives to further develop the diverse revenue streams of the division

· Where required, taking part in pitches and presentations to clients

Qualifications:

A Bachelors or Master’s degree is required.
