FUNCTIONS:
He will be reporting to the Project Manager and will be fully responsible for HSE requirements of the project. He will be conducting daily tool box talk, safety reports and make sure that all the safety procedures are met with at site. Safety Manager carries out supervision at site to ensure safety of all site activities as per approved H&S Plan. He co-ordinates with safety department and gets approval of all lifting equipment certificate.
He co-ordinates with operation department for work permit and critical activities at site.
Safety Manager Co-ordinates with Project Manager or Project Engineer and discusses about the site safety precautions and actions to be taken during day activities at site.
He is responsible for the safety analysis of all critical activities. He will ensure that all site personnel are equipped with proper PPE.
He shall conduct daily tool box talk meetings, conduct regular site inspections and report findings.
Maintain a site safety log for review and clients inspection when and if required.
Carries out Hazard Risk Assessment for the site. Carrying safety inspection and raises NCR for non-conformities. Ensure first aid and emergency procedure for the site are established and maintained. Coordinates with the client for any safety relate requirement at site. An activity, which calls for critical safety attention, shall be highlighted.
Coordinate with the site disciplined engineer for all matters related to safety. Review and analyze the safety hazards in any critical activity and prepare remedial action to prevent occurrence of any accident. Responsible for reporting all incidents to client/Supervising Consultant.
