1-Prepares inpatient’s file according to the approved policy and procedures:
a.Prepares inpatient’s file according to methods of assembly policy and fastening patient.
b.Prepares ID labels to all chart documents and inserts documents in chart holder under appropriate division, and makes sure that the room number on ID label is matched.
c.Enters patient’s companion.
d.Verifies that the patient’s chart and X-ray are in the proper floor, and makes sure to fasten patient’s ID labels on all X-rays.
e.Completes daily Check List sheet at the end of shift
f.Prepares Medical records file for newborn according to the approved policy and procedures
2-Transfers the patient to another ward according to approved policies and procedures
3-discharges Patient after received the discharge order and summary from physician.
a.Initiates the death notification form, ensures physicians have completed cause of death.
